• We Already Know How To Cure Cancer

Posted February 2, 2015: by Bill Sardi

Delivered at the Sixtieth Annual Awards Dinner, National Health Federation
Woodland Hills, California, January 31, 2015

Public speaking coaches suggest you size up your audience before you deliver a speech. I’m told there are three ways to segment an audience; those who already embrace what I have to say; those who stand in the middle and need further convincing and those who oppose or disagree with what I have to say. I’m told those who oppose or disagree will not move all the way to embracing my thoughts, that the best I can expect is for them to move towards the middle and those in the middle move towards what I am going to suggest here tonight.

  • Cancer Cured, Again

Posted October 23, 2014: by Bill Sardi

Oh no, not another cure for cancer. It’s not another laetrile is it?

It was April Fools’ Day 2007 and an op-ed article published by The New York Times entitled “Patents Over Patients” by Ralph Moss, noted critic of the cancer industry. But there was no fooling about what Mr. Moss wrote about. He chastised the cancer industry for ignoring an off-the-shelf molecule initially produced in the 1940s called 3-bromopyruvate (3-BP) that had been found to dramatically reduce the growth of human tumors implanted in animals and has produced remarkable cures in a small number of human cases but had yet to be tested in a human trial. That was seven years ago. The initial animal lab discovery was published in 2004. That was 10 years ago.

  • Most Long-Lived Men Will Die With But Not Of Prostate Cancer; Then Why Do 30,000 Men A Year With Prostate Cancer Succumb To Their Malignancy?

Posted May 8, 2014: by Bill Sardi

In all the years of saying most men die with but not of prostate cancer, no one comes to the fore to explain why 30,000 men DO succumb to this disease annually. While the most common type of prostate cancer is slow growing and not life threatening [Group Health], men live in fear they will be among the 30,000.

There are an estimated 2.5 million men in the U.S. living with diagnosed prostate cancer, whatever that means. About 233,000 new cases will be diagnosed and ~30,000 will die of the disease annually according to the American Cancer Society.   [American Cancer Society]

  • Cancer Genetics: What The Researchers Aren’t Telling You

Posted April 25, 2014: by Bill Sardi

Geneticists have made a stunning breakthrough, at least in their own minds. Though not quite ready for human application, they have “edited” DNA to cure a disease in an adult animal.

News reports don’t quite put this development into perspective. It is one thing to insert a new gene in animal eggs so the next generation can benefit but quite another to do this in a fully developed adult with full-blown disease. What this means is that single-gene mutation diseases humans were born with can possibly be cured today, not just corrected in the next generation.

  • Science Slams Door On Mammography, But Will Women Bypass Breast Cancer Screening?

Posted April 18, 2014: by Bill Sardi

A New England Journal of Medicine report is the latest to condemn mammography.  Its title (Abolishing Mammography Screening Programs) suggests it’s time to close up breast cancer screening centers altogether.

Cited as evidence is a 25-year study among thousands of women detected just 484 cancers and 22% of them were unnecessarily treated with surgery, radiation or other therapies.

Also cited was a larger trial of over a half-million women that showed no evidence that mammography screening reduces over-all mortality.  The report is even more sobering.  For every breast-cancer death prevented in the U.S. prevented by annual screening beginning at age 50, 460-670 women are likely to have a false positive mammogram with repeat examination; 70-100 a needless biopsy and 3 to 14 an over-diagnosed case of cancer that would never be life threatening.

  • Why A Few Cancer Patients Miraculously Respond To Experimental Cancer Treatment While Most Others Do Not

Posted April 14, 2014: by Bill Sardi

A Bloomberg News report delved into the reasons why a few patients respond to experimental cancer treatments while most others do not.  Investigators still aren’t sure why some patients respond “miraculously” to treatment that largely fails others.  It may be genetic predisposition.  [Cancer ‘Miracle’ Patients Studied Anew For Disease Clues].  Readers were invited to comment on the report.  Here is what one commentator posted:

Please, don’t be stupid with these alternative treatments. If you don’t understand how disease/cure works on cellular level defer it to professionals. Stephen Jobs was so arrogant that he delayed his treatment for 7 months trying to find alternative treatment. Please, don’t make same mistakes. Simple answers never work for complex questions. The Dark ages ended some time ago.

How absurd!  Cancer researchers are saying they have conquered the “Everest of cancer genes” with the discovery of a synthetic molecule that inhibits the mutated RAS cancer-promoting gene.  The lead scientist says: ‘People have tried to drug every part of ras and looked at every nook and cranny on it and screened a million compounds and never found anything that inhibits it well.”  They say their molecule is “30 years in the making.”  Their research is published in a recent edition of SCIENCE.

Now scroll down to read a report published in the journal NUTRITION in 1997 which cites that orange peel oil and its primary active ingredient limonene effectively block mutated RAS genes. Molecules in garlic and omega-3 fish and flaxseed oil do the same. So does resveratrol. How many are they allowing to needlessly die while they attempt to make blockbuster drugs to cure cancer?  –Bill Sardi, Knowledge of Health, Inc.

  • Researchers Suggest Two Dietary Supplements To Prevent Breast Cancer

Posted September 10, 2013: by Bill Sardi

You can read the abstract of their report for yourself, as published in the Molecular Aspects Of Medicine journal, published online August 29, 2013.  University of Nebraska Medical Center researchers say estrogen imbalance promotes breast cancer.  DNA adducts are formed, which is a piece of DNA bonded to a cancer-causing chemical.

These researchers say “the dietary supplements resveratrol and N-acetylcysteine (NAC) can act as cancer preventing agents by keeping estrogen metabolism balanced.”  These are inexpenstive and could prevent “many of the prevalent types of human cancer,” they say.

  • Immune-Boosting Vitamin Cure From Japan Goes Online

Posted July 24, 2013: by Bill Sardi

The Saisei Mirai Clinics in Kobe, Japan have taken their “cancer cure” online and graphically describe how it works, including published studies for the more scientific investigator.  A key part of the therapy is injection of Gc-macrophage activating factor (Gc-MAF) which is gleaned from blood samples of healthy adults.  Gc-MAF instructs white blood cells called macrophages to destroy cancerous cells as well as other foreign invaders like viruses.

The Saisei Mirai Clinics report they have successfully treated 345 consecutive patients with terminal metastatic (spreading) cancer.  Some cases are reported at the website.  They include the case of a 62-year old woman who was diagnosed with uterine cancer with spreading to the lymph nodes in 2011 and had undergone two prior chemotherapy sessions.  After a battery of treatments to boost her own immune system, she achieved complete remission from cancer in 2013 (no tumor visible on CAT scan and normal tumor markers).

  • Update II: Cancer Immunotherapy From Japan

Posted July 14, 2013: by Bill Sardi

Various skeptics challenged my online report of a study published in the journal Anticancer Research that 345 patients with end-stage spreading (metastatic) cancer at a clinic in Japan had been successfully treated with immunotherapy.  That published report presented three cases as examples.  Skeptics claimed only 3 of the 345 treated patients were successfully treated.

I have received confirmation directly from the Saisei Mirai Clinic in Kobe, Japan, that these patients were successfully treated and are in 1-2 year remission following treatment with injectable Gc-MAF (macrophage activating factor), intravenous vitamin C and oral vitamin D plus lipoic acid.  The clinic doctors report few if any side effects, improved quality of life, increased appetite in end-stage patients and prolonged survival. The e-mail received from Japan can be read below.
