• Companies That Control The World’s (Junk) Food

CBS’ Marketwatch.com lists the top ten food companies in the world and they might be better described as the top ten junk food companies. They make money designing convenience foods under brand names like Pringles, Oreo, Coke, Pepsi, Sugar Pops, Milky Way and Snickers. Seven of the top ten food companies design products that pander to human food vices, generate dental decay, diabetes, obesity, kidney disease and heart failure as well as pollute the mind. They intentionally design foods that feed overgrowth of yeast (Candida albicans) in the digestive tract that induces sugar craving. Some of these products, like Kellogg’s K cereal, are fortified with iron + high fructose corn syrup and are devoid of bran, a perfect recipe for the diabesity epidemic that has swept the globe. A National Geographic special edition a few years ago published a photographic image of the foods consumed by rich and poor across the globe.   Regardless of the poverty level, every culture consumes high fructose corn-laced soda pop. These companies control the world’s food says Marketwatch.   They sell around $320 billion of processed foods. The healthiest product they market is bottled water.
