I understand how statins deplete Q10 and E, but not how they deplete selenium and vitamin D.

My doctor has been trying to get me on statins. However, even at the lowest dose to start, I immediately get leg and foot cramps.
So, I am working to increase my intake of vitamins and minerals, and change diet to much more fresh fruits and vegetables.

if you are going to bend to your doctor’s demand and take a pill that doesn’t work and poses potential problems, then you should supplement your diet with coenzyme Q10, vitamin D3, selenium, magnesium. -Bill Sardi
